"Our family stayed at the Cooney home in July 2010.  It was their first time renting, so there were a few "kinks" that had to be worked out.  However, we were extremely happy with how they dealt with things... always available by phone to answer questions.

We had 12 people (5 adults and 7 kids).  In terms of sleeping space, that was about right, but honestly the home could accommodate more if you're willing to sleep on couches or floors (you'd need to provide your own sleeping cots or bags).  Lots of eating space.  The pageant keeps you busy enough that you don't spend a lot of time here, but when you are here there's plenty of space to eat.  Also, it was big enough that you could always find someplace to be alone, to decompress.  Because it was an older home, there were some minor difficulties (the kitchen counter space is minimal, for example), but nothing that seriously made it difficult to be there.

You do need transportation to the Hill, but it's only 5 minutes up the road.  We shared one rental car and shuttled easily from home to Hill.  I'd rather have a second car, however.  The best (cheapest for a large group) shopping was about 15 minutes south in Canandaigua.

All in all, this was a good experience and situation for our family.  Cheaper than motel rooms for that period, and lot's more space and amenities.  We can confidently recommend this home as being worth the money we paid for it.  And you couldn't ask for nicer people to deal with than the Cooney's.  If you have questions or need something, just ask them."
